A team of researchers, headed by Professor Zou Jun from the School of Mechanical Engineering at Zhejiang University, has pioneered a groundbreaking wearable face-changing mask. Leveraging advanced reprogrammable chemical fluid skin technology, this mask boasts the remarkable ability to morph its shape and color, seamlessly transitioning between at least eight distinct facial appearances. Designed with versatility in mind, it is equally suited for use by both robots and humans. Currently, the mask measures 1 centimeter in thickness, but the research team is committed to refining it further, aiming for a more lightweight, slimmer design that can express a wider range of vivid expressions.
