Apple announced that just two weeks after launch, over 100,000 apps have already been optimized for the foldable iPhone Duo. These apps are built on the iOS 27.1 and later SDK, fully support the full-width display on both the inner and outer screens, and have been adjusted for the vertical control layout of the status bar. All optimized apps feature an exclusive "Made for iPhone Duo" badge in the App Store, making them easy for users to identify. Susan Prescott, Apple's vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations, said developer response has exceeded expectations, with thousands of optimized apps still being added every day. Among the apps that have yet to be optimized are leading titles from a range of categories, including Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams, Starbucks, Steam, Uber Eats, YouTube Music, and PayPal.
