A relevant official from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) stated on the 5th that China will, on the premise of ensuring safety, actively and steadily advance the safe, healthy, and orderly development of the low-altitude equipment industry. The official noted that developing the low-altitude economy must prioritize safety, strengthen drone safety risk control from the manufacturing end, and accelerate the development of management systems encompassing laws, regulations, and standards. In terms of innovation-driven development, efforts should focus on unmanned, electric, networked, and intelligent technologies to promote the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation with industrial innovation in low-altitude equipment, and to accelerate the building of an advanced and practical product system for low-altitude equipment. Meanwhile, scenario innovation should be strengthened by adhering to the principles of "cargo first, passengers later; isolation first, integration later; remote suburbs first, urban areas later," cultivating benchmark scenarios that can be replicated and scaled up, and driving the iterative upgrading of technology and equipment.
