Following the switch to winter time, some Apple Watch users have encountered a display bug: when the wrist is down and the Always-On Display is enabled, the time shown on the screen is off by one hour. It returns to normal after raising the wrist or tapping to wake the screen. This is not a system-wide timekeeping error, and core functions such as alarms and timers remain unaffected. Apple has announced a temporary solution: users can change the watch face and then switch back to the original one, or restart the device to eliminate the time discrepancy on the Always-On display. No dedicated watchOS patch has yet been released to fully resolve the issue.
