Tech journalist Mark Gurman reports that Apple plans to launch a second-generation touchscreen MacBook Pro in 2027 and discontinue the existing non-touchscreen high-end MacBook Pro. The 14-inch base model will be upgraded with the M7 chip and adopt a new thin-and-light design, but will not support touch.
