The Department of Commerce of Henan Province, in collaboration with the Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Provincial Department of Finance, has jointly declared its intention to enhance the local subsidy policy for independent categories concerning the trade-in of old consumer goods for new ones in 2026. Building upon the existing subsidy categories, the policy will primarily focus on incorporating intelligent products to unlock the vast potential of smart consumption. The subsidy will encompass a range of items, including intelligent cleaning robots, smart clothes dryers, digital cameras, and intelligent water purifiers. The subsidy rate is set at 15% of the product's final sales price, with a maximum subsidy limit of 1,500 yuan per item. Additionally, each consumer will be eligible for only one subsidy per product category.
