Apple's forthcoming new-generation iPad mini is poised for a substantial upgrade, though this enhancement will be accompanied by a corresponding price hike. As per Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, the OLED iteration of the iPad mini currently under development by Apple will command a significantly higher price tag than its present counterpart. He anticipates that the base price of this new device could hover around the $799 mark. Should this forecast materialize, the new iPad mini will carry a $200 premium over the current model, which retails at $599, marking an approximate 33% surge in price.
