Recently, reports have surfaced indicating that Huawei is set to introduce a new sub-brand named 'Xingmang.' This brand is expected to follow a similar path to Honor in its early days, focusing on the mid-range, cost-effective market segment. It is anticipated that the Xingmang devices will be powered by Kirin 8-series chips and run on Huawei's proprietary HarmonyOS, yet they will not include high-end features such as satellite communication. In response to these rumors, officials from Huawei have emphasized that the official information should be considered as the authoritative source. Further investigation via Tianyancha reveals that Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. has submitted applications to register multiple trademarks for both 'Xingmang' and 'Huawei Xingmang.' These trademarks span various international classifications, including advertising and sales, jewelry and watches, and website services, among others. Notably, some of these trademark applications have already been successfully registered.
