OnePlus has officially revealed that the upcoming OnePlus 16 will be integrated with OPPO’s Glacier Battery Energy Collection Chip, touted for its three key selling points. Li Jie, President of OnePlus China, also disclosed that the OnePlus 16 will lead the market with a new-generation, high-performance 9000mAh Glacier Battery, which supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. The launch event for the OnePlus 16 is scheduled for 7:00 PM on October 12th, showcasing it as a flagship model designed for peak performance. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Super Elite mobile platform, complemented by the Wind Rush Gaming Core. This combination positions the OnePlus 16 as the industry’s first smartphone capable of native operation at a full 185FPS. Additionally, the OnePlus 16 features an 185Hz fourth-generation BOE Oriental Screen, developed in collaboration with BOE, and boasts an ultra-narrow 1.15mm four-sided equal bezel design. The smartphone also sports a triple rear camera setup equipped with the LUMO Light Condensing Imaging System, promising to be a powerhouse for 200-megapixel landscape photography.
