In the third quarter of 2026, global PC shipments fell by 20.1% year-on-year to 62.7 million units, and also decreased by 9.1% quarter-on-quarter, breaking the seasonal pattern where the third quarter typically outperforms the second quarter. Lenovo maintained its lead with 14.9 million units shipped and a 23.8% market share, followed by HP, Dell, Apple, and ASUS in second to fifth place, with Apple and ASUS experiencing relatively smaller declines in shipments. Supply constraints, price increases, and early inventory buildup were the primary reasons for the decline in shipments.
