News on October 9th: Huawei's offline stores have disclosed that the prices of the Huawei nova 16 series will go up starting from midnight on October 9th, 2026. Specifically, the recommended retail prices for both the nova 16 and nova 16 Pro will climb by 400 yuan. Meanwhile, the nova 16 SE will witness a 200-yuan price surge, and the channel purchase prices will be adjusted accordingly as well.
Following the price adjustment, the nova 16 256G version will be priced at 3,399 yuan, and the 512G version at 3,899 yuan. The nova 16 Pro 256G version will retail at 4,299 yuan, and the 512G version at 4,799 yuan. As for the nova 16 SE, the 256G version will cost 2,899 yuan, and the 512G version will be priced at 3,399 yuan. Huawei has not issued an official response regarding this matter yet.
On the same day, all Xiaomi 17 Ultra models also experienced a price increase of 1,000 yuan. The starting price of the standard version rose from 6,999 yuan to 7,999 yuan, while the starting price of the Leica version increased from 7,999 yuan to 8,999 yuan. All versions currently listed on the Xiaomi official website have had their prices adjusted.
This marks Huawei's second price adjustment within a little over a month. Previously, on September 1st, the entire Huawei Mate 80 series saw a price hike of 800 to 1,000 yuan. Unlike the previous adjustment, which mainly focused on flagship models, this price increase primarily targets mid-range mainstay models, with the lowest price reaching 2,899 yuan.
