Recently, a number of iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max users have voiced concerns about atypical sounds emanating from their phone speakers during operation. These sounds range from popping, faint ticking, and cracking to sporadic clicking noises. The occurrence of these unusual sounds spans various usage scenarios. Some users have described the sounds as persistent, while others have noted that they only manifest during specific activities, such as using apps, browsing the internet, receiving notifications, when the keyboard appears, during cellular calls, when switching to airplane mode, or when swiftly altering the screen brightness.
Despite some users opting for device replacements in hopes of resolving the issue, the new phones continue to produce the same abnormal sounds. At present, there is no consistent method to replicate this problem, and the underlying cause remains a mystery.
