This setting can be found under the path: Settings > Privacy & Security > Motion & Fitness. Once activated, it empowers users to prevent certain apps from accessing motion sensor data, encompassing both accelerometer and gyroscope readings. It's worth noting that some apps might malfunction or even crash if they're denied access to this crucial data.

This feature is poised to curb the ability of certain apps to exploit device motion sensors for triggering specific actions, such as displaying ads when the phone is shaken. However, Apple has yet to officially elucidate the precise intent behind this feature. Its availability is contingent upon the region associated with the user's App Store account; the pertinent setting will only be visible when the user is logged in with an account registered in mainland China. Should the user switch to a U.S. region account, the option will vanish, and any restrictions previously imposed through a mainland China account will be rendered null and void.
