The standard Xiaomi 18 Pro will be powered by the sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite, while the larger Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will feature the even more powerful sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra Elite.

Both chips are crafted using TSMC's enhanced N2P 2nm GAA process and integrate Qualcomm's third-generation self-developed Oryon CPU architecture. Compared to the previous 3nm technology, transistor density has surged by approximately 30%, while power consumption at equivalent performance levels has plummeted by 36%.

The sixth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra Elite stands out as the industry's first mobile platform to exceed a 5GHz clock speed. It boasts a 2+3+3 tri-cluster octa-core design, which significantly enhances CPU performance, energy efficiency, and responsiveness. Moreover, this chip has been upgraded to the Adreno 850 GPU, complete with an exclusive 18MB dedicated graphics cache. It uniquely supports LPDDR6 memory and UFS 5.0 flash storage, setting a new standard for mobile performance.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro series marks the most substantial upgrade in the history of Xiaomi's digital lineup. All models feature a Leica dual 200-megapixel ultra-clear imaging system, a new-generation Super Pixel screen with the all-new M11 luminous system, and ultra-narrow screen bezels measuring just 0.99mm.

In terms of battery life, the Xiaomi 18 Pro is equipped with a robust 7000mAh Jinsha River battery, while the Pro Max model boasts an even larger 8500mAh battery. These new devices will debut with Xiaomi HyperOS 4 and are set to be officially released on September 23 at 19:00.
