Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi Group, disclosed that the series will undergo comprehensive enhancements across four key domains: performance, rear screen, display, and imaging capabilities. He emphasized that, at present, true AI smartphones have not yet achieved widespread adoption. The Xiaomi 18 Pro series signifies Xiaomi's inaugural foray into leveraging AI technology to holistically transform smartphones, encompassing everything from system software and chip hardware to image processing and large-scale model applications.

Among the standout features, the 'AI Versatile Rear Screen' function shines. It harnesses AI to generate dynamic images of pets, showcasing them on the rear screen. Additionally, it comes pre-loaded with 100 application cards tailored for daily scenarios. Users also have the option to articulate their needs to the AI, which will then generate bespoke application cards accordingly. Furthermore, Xiaomi is set to introduce a rear screen app store, aiming to further broaden its ecosystem.
