The Apple Watch Series 12 has officially launched in mainland China, with a starting price of 2999 yuan. This watch is available in two sizes, 42mm and 46mm, with case materials including aluminum, titanium, and a new precision ceramic. The aluminum version comes in four color options, the titanium version in two, while the precision ceramic version introduces two new colors: pearl white and midnight blue. The aluminum version features a Ceramic Shield front2, while the titanium and ceramic versions utilize sapphire crystal glass for the display. The Apple Watch Series 12 is powered by the S11 chip, featuring a 64-bit dual-core processor, a 4-core Neural Engine, and 64GB of storage. Its display adopts an always-on Retina display based on wide-angle OLED and LTPO3 technology, supporting a 1Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 2000 nits. Health features are a major focus of this upgrade. The watch is equipped with a second-generation electrical heart rate sensor and a new optical heart rate sensor, increasing heart rate reading frequency to once every 5 seconds and heart rate variability monitoring to once every 5 minutes, representing a 60-fold and 24-fold improvement, respectively, compared to the Series 11. Additionally, it introduces a new "Readiness Score" feature and supports multiple health functions such as sleep scoring and vital signs monitoring. In terms of battery life, it can last up to 24 hours under normal use and up to 38 hours in low-power mode, taking approximately 1 hour to charge to 80%. The Apple Watch Series 12 is available in GPS and GPS + Cellular versions, with the latter supporting 5G networks.
