Renowned Apple insider Mark Gurman has reported that Apple is on the verge of launching a new Mac mini desktop computer, representing the product's first significant update in almost two years. Drawing on sources with intimate knowledge of the situation, Gurman indicated that the new Mac mini could see a release within the next few days, possibly even making a debut prior to Apple's September event, which is expected to showcase the new iPhone. Apple has been conducting tests on new Mac mini models that incorporate M5 and M6 processors. At present, Apple's most recent Mac mini, introduced in 2024, is available in two configurations, featuring M4 and M4 Pro chips. The Mac mini variant equipped with the M4 chip boasts a 10-core CPU and a 10-core GPU, with a starting price of 5,999 yuan listed on the Chinese official website.
