Sunbird Messaging announced today the relaunch of its eponymous app, aiming to provide Apple's iMessage service for Android users. The app has concluded its early limited testing phase and is now publicly available for download on the Google Play Store. With Sunbird, when Android users send messages to iPhone users, the iconic iMessage 'blue bubble' will be displayed instead of the traditional green bubble. Additionally, the app integrates iMessage, RCS, and traditional SMS/MMS messaging functions.
