On July 17, Neolix, a prominent player in the autonomous delivery vehicle industry, declared the formation of its Safety Committee. This move signifies an enhancement of its current safety framework and establishes the first safety management organization at the corporate level within the industry. The committee is led by Yu Enyuan, the CEO of Neolix, with CTO Miao Qiankun and CPO Xie Jinghua acting as safety supervisors. It will undertake a comprehensive oversight of safety management throughout the entire process, encompassing vehicle design, intelligent driving systems, operational services, and data security. Moreover, the committee holds 'veto power' over crucial decisions, such as updates to autonomous driving algorithms and expansions of operational territories. To date, Neolix's autonomous vehicles have logged over 200 million kilometers in operation, maintaining an impeccable safety record with zero fatalities or serious injuries.
