Recently, Associate Professor Li Mujun, hailing from the School of Engineering Science and the Institute of Humanoid Robotics at the University of Science and Technology of China, has teamed up with Professor Zhang Shiwu and Professor Pan Tingrui from the Suzhou Institute for Advanced Research. Together, they have introduced an innovative multi-material feed-draw printing technique. This technique has been successfully employed to manufacture an integrated flexible capacitive sensor, renowned for its exceptional interfacial toughness and expansive linear range. Notably, the sensor boasts an impressive interfacial toughness of up to 1547 J/m² and continues to deliver a consistent signal output, even after undergoing 200,000 loading cycles.
