According to the latest preliminary data released by the International Data Corporation (IDC) on July 14, total smartphone shipments in China during the second quarter of 2026 reached approximately 66 million units, marking a 4.3% year-on-year decline and extending the market contraction to five consecutive quarters. Amid this broader downturn, Apple distinguished itself with a remarkable 24.4% year-on-year increase in iPhone shipments, securing its position as the fastest-growing smartphone brand in the Chinese market for that period.
