Market research firm Counterpoint Research released a report indicating that in the first quarter of 2026, the Apple iPhone 17 series dominated the global best-selling smartphones list, occupying the top three positions. The iPhone 17 emerged as the most popular model, capturing 6% of the total sales. Meanwhile, five models from the Samsung Galaxy A series also made it onto the list, and the Xiaomi Redmi A5 rounded out the top ten, securing the tenth spot.
