On May 7th, reports indicated that during the first quarter of this year, propelled by the combined forces of the consumer goods trade-in policy and the seamless integration of AI technology into consumer products, China's intelligent consumer equipment manufacturing sector exhibited robust development momentum and notable production growth, emerging as a vital pillar for industrial economic expansion. Data reveals that in Q1, China manufactured 298 million smartphones, marking a year-on-year increase of 6.9%. Additionally, the production of service robots surpassed 4.4 million units, representing a 2.6% year-on-year rise. The strong sales of complete devices also spurred growth in the production of upstream electronic components. Notably, integrated circuits, serving as core supporting components, achieved a production volume of 127.2 billion units, up by 24.3% year-on-year, thereby providing robust support for the production of intelligent consumer products.
