Recently, X user @earlyappleleaks has shared what are purported to be CAD renderings of the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro. These images suggest a significant 35% reduction in the area of the device's Dynamic Island compared to its predecessor, with the width narrowing from 20.76mm to 13.49mm. This design alteration is speculated to be a result of Apple's decision to relocate the infrared sensor to the top-left corner of the screen and to integrate all Face ID sensors beneath the display. In addition to these changes, the iPhone 18 Pro is rumored to introduce a striking new Deep Cherry Red color variant, boasting a low-saturation matte finish that exudes a sense of luxury. The screen bezels have also been further slimmed down, contributing to an even higher screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the device is expected to be powered by a cutting-edge 2nm process A20 Pro chip, promising enhanced performance and energy efficiency. The main camera is rumored to support variable aperture technology, while the battery capacity has been increased to provide longer-lasting power. As for pricing, the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are anticipated to start at $1099 and $1199, respectively.
