In late 2025, Logitech unveiled its HITS (Haptic Induction Trigger System) on the G Pro X2 Superstrike gaming mouse, capturing the keen interest of gaming mouse aficionados. The HITS system leverages electromagnetic induction-based non-contact trigger technology. In theory, this innovation can slash click latency by up to 30 milliseconds, granting players a swifter response time. Yet, much like numerous groundbreaking offerings from Logitech, this mouse isn't without its flaws and comes at a hefty price. Presently, at least two Chinese peripheral makers are poised to roll out their proprietary magnetic switch technologies, with the intention of contesting some of the capabilities of Logitech's HITS system and presenting players with a broader array of options.
