Recently, a leaker claimed on platform X that they had obtained the latest CAD files for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, allegedly sourced from accessory manufacturers. The files indicate that the cutout area at the top of the screens for these two models will be significantly reduced, with the cutout area shrinking by 35% compared to the previous generation. The leaker stated that these CAD files are highly likely to be based on Apple's official data and are used for the early development of accessories such as protective cases. Technologically, Apple has moved the infrared sensor to the top-left corner of the screen and plans to relocate all Face ID sensors under the display, paving the way for a 'true full-screen' design on the iPhone 20. Meanwhile, the iPhone 18 Pro series is expected to maintain the same starting price as its predecessor.
