OPPO has made an internal announcement, proclaiming the formation of a new sub-brand business unit, which will be helmed by Senior Vice President Li Bingzhong. Concurrently, Xu Qi will take charge of the marketing and service frameworks for OnePlus and realme. In terms of product development, OPPO has established a sub-brand product center, with Li Jie at its helm. Wang Wei, the former Vice President of realme, will assume the role of Deputy General Manager. The original realme R&D team will rejoin the OPPO Group, with its imaging, hardware, and other departments being seamlessly integrated into OPPO's operations. From April 1st onwards, the after-sales service for the realme brand on the Chinese mainland will be completely merged into OPPO's service system. The realme community will gradually wind down its operations, with user interactions and content being transitioned to the OPPO Mall community. On April 25th, the realme Mall will officially shut down, retaining only the historical order query function until April 25th, 2027, signifying the complete integration of the realme brand into the OPPO ecosystem.
