Microsoft has set its sights on enhancing the Clock app within the Windows 11 ecosystem. The latest beta iteration boasts a sleek design with rounded corners, where the task panel now commands half of the screen real estate, facilitating effortless sorting and a seamless integration with the Microsoft To Do app. Functionally, the forthcoming Focus mode is poised to offer music playback and more, although the beta version is currently missing some fundamental modules. The standout feature of this new version is the introduction of a 'Focus' mode that can operate in a minimized state, empowering users to tailor their focus and break intervals, as well as activate the 'Focus Score' and 'Auto Pause' functionalities. Additionally, a 'Reflection' feature is available upon exiting the mode. AI technology takes center stage in this update, with 'Task Steps' harnessing AI-powered intelligent suggestions, and the task functionality deeply intertwined with the Microsoft To Do app. Nevertheless, the beta app still has room for improvement, as its memory consumption is nearly twice that of its predecessor, and certain features are yet to reach full maturity.
