Developers now have the opportunity to utilize the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition, and Xiaomi 17 for adaptation and hands-on experience. Owing to the Android security patch adaptation process, each model boasts a specific upgrade version tailored to its needs. Users can download the relevant firmware and proceed with the upgrade via card brush (also known as sideloading). However, it's crucial to note that this process will erase all data, so users are advised to back up their data beforehand. Xiaomi cautions against using your primary device for this trial and suggests that those unfamiliar with the flashing process should exercise caution. Based on the development roadmap, Google is anticipated to unveil the official version of Android 17 around June of this year, with the new generation of flagship phones set to adopt it at an earlier stage.
