On April 28, it emerged that the Outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of Guangdong Province had been officially unveiled. The plan outlines Guangdong's commitment to honing in on core sectors such as low-altitude safety measures and counterstrategies, comprehensive aircraft production, essential components, innovative propulsion systems, software solutions, and low-altitude service support. It underscores the importance of achieving technological milestones in the realm of new-configuration eVTOL aircraft and electric propulsion systems. Simultaneously, the province is set to advance pivotal technologies, encompassing aviation-grade, high-energy-density novel power batteries, ultra-high-speed motors, efficient and intelligent airspace management and control systems, and manned-unmanned integrated flight capabilities. Furthermore, the plan sets its sights on exploring technological frontiers in cutting-edge launch and space transportation, intelligent satellites and on-orbit services, space-based information intelligence applications, and more, with a particular focus on rocket production, launch, and retrieval technologies.
