Market research firm Sigmaintell predicts that by the end of 2026, Apple will rise to become the third largest laptop manufacturer globally, with MacBook shipments surpassing those of traditional PC giant Dell, further improving its ranking. According to estimates, Lenovo will maintain its position as the global leader with 43 million units sold in 2026, followed closely by HP with 39 million units. Apple is expected to sell 28 million MacBooks, marking a significant increase from approximately 23 million units sold in 2025.
