As reported by HKEPC, Mr. Pan, a consumer based in Hong Kong, encountered a malfunction with his Linksys E8450 AX3200 router a mere 15 days prior to the expiration of its three-year warranty. To his dismay, the manufacturer declined to repair or replace the device, instead proposing a refund of just HKD 10.14. This amount was calculated based on the remaining warranty days, a stark contrast to the router's original price tag of HKD 740. In response to the situation, Linksys Hong Kong eventually admitted that their handling of the matter was improper and pledged to provide Mr. Pan with a replacement router of the same model or a newer version.
