Based on reports from AndroidHeadlines, ASUS is gearing up to re-enter the tablet market with a fresh offering—the ASUS Pad. Design sketches and detailed specifications of this upcoming device have already surfaced. Targeting the large-screen, lightweight segment, the ASUS Pad boasts a 12.2-inch dual-layer OLED display, capable of delivering a smooth visual experience with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. It also supports immersive Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos sound technologies.

The ASUS Pad features a sleek, four-sided equal narrow-bezel design, complemented by a metal chassis and a flat rear surface. The camera module, slightly raised, integrates a single lens and an LED flash. Remarkably thin at just 6.5mm and weighing a mere 523g, this tablet packs a substantial 9000mAh battery that supports rapid charging, ensuring long-lasting usage.

Additionally, ASUS will introduce at least one official protective case crafted from transparent plastic. This case is designed with a versatile origami-style stand on the back, enhancing the tablet's functionality and usability.
