As of April 16, the sales volume of digital and smart products has surged to 42.433 million units, marking a significant year-on-year increase of 31.7%. The corresponding sales revenue has also seen a robust rise, reaching RMB 126.153 billion, up by 36.4% from the previous year, with mobile phones dominating the sales landscape, accounting for over 80% of the total. This year, the subsidy policy for purchasing new products has undergone enhancements and expansions, notably including smart glasses in the subsidy program for the first time. This strategic move has effectively spurred the growth of retail sales in the communication equipment sector. By mid-April, 16 domestic smart glasses brands had joined the subsidy initiative, resulting in a remarkable year-on-year surge in sales volume (42.4%) and sales revenue (46.8%) for the participating enterprises. This development underscores the policy's role in fostering the growth of new, high-quality productive forces.
