On April 19, Hubei Daily reported that the prototype of the V1000 passenger eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft) made its first public appearance after final assembly. This milestone took place on April 16 at the workshop of Wuhan Xunqi Technology Co., Ltd., located in the Low-altitude Economy Industrial Park backed by the Wuhan Economic Development Investment Group, attracting widespread attention from visitors.

During an on-site observation, reporters noted that the aircraft bears a striking resemblance to a conventional passenger plane, complete with windows and seats. Xu Zhilin, the lead designer of the Wuhan Xunqi Technology project, revealed that the V1000 passenger aircraft is slated for its maiden flight in June this year. Presently, the aircraft is undergoing airworthiness certification, with plans for an official market introduction anticipated around 2030.
