OPPO has officially disclosed the upgrade roadmap for the official version of its latest ColorOS 16. Between May 10 and May 20, a plethora of OPPO and OnePlus models will progressively receive update notifications. The distribution of these updates will follow a phased approach. Users have the option to check for new versions or opt for a manual upgrade through the path: 'Settings > System & Updates > Software Update.' However, it's important to note that certain features may exhibit variations depending on the specific model in use. Simultaneously, the recruitment process for the internal testing phase of ColorOS 16 has also kicked off today. This phase encompasses models such as the OPPO Find X9, OPPO Find X9 Pro, OPPO Find X9 Pro Satellite Communication Edition, and the OnePlus 15. The recruitment window spans from April 16 until 24:00 on April 17. To be eligible for participation in the internal testing, specific version prerequisites must be fulfilled. The review period is slated from April 18 to April 24, with approvals being granted in batches, taking into account quiz scores and the timing of registration. Subsequently, the internal test versions will be rolled out in batches from April 21 to April 24, contingent upon the outcomes of the review process.
