According to reports from South Korean media outlet ETNEWS, Apple is slated to introduce an OLED iteration of the iPad Air in the first half of 2027, with a projected launch window in either March or May. By that time, it is anticipated that only the standard numbered models within the iPad lineup will continue to feature LCD screens, whereas the remaining models are likely to transition to OLED displays. As for the supplier, Samsung Display is poised to commence large-scale production of these OLED panels by the end of 2026 or January 2027 at the latest.
