Today, Huawei officially declared its upcoming launch of AI glasses on April 20, touting them as having formidable "eye" capabilities. These glasses, available in three color variants, boast a lightweight design and support a range of functions, including photography and video recording. Leveraging the HarmonyOS system, they ensure smooth cross-device collaboration and introduce an innovative interactive experience. By integrating a built-in camera with the Xiao Yi AI assistant, these glasses unlock intelligent features such as AI object recognition. Moreover, they incorporate three lithium batteries to strike a balance between battery longevity and wearing comfort.
It's worth noting that Huawei had previously released the Smart Glasses 2 in 2023. This year, smart glasses have been included in the new categories eligible for national subsidies, a move anticipated to significantly enhance the market performance and drive sales growth of Huawei's AI glasses.
