Jiangte Motor has officially declared, through a formal statement, that it has forged a consensus with a distinguished academician team and the Federation of Academician and Expert Workstations based in Pudong New Area, Shanghai. Together, they aim to spearhead the establishment of the 'Collaborative Innovation Research Institute for the Low-Altitude Economy' and have already inked a comprehensive cooperation agreement.
The institute is set to concentrate on pivotal technologies, including high-performance motors tailored for low-altitude aircraft, pouch cells, and electric drive systems. Moreover, it will embark on research and development endeavors to devise integrated solutions for low-altitude logistics, electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft, as well as power and energy systems for unmanned aerial vehicles.
Beyond technological advancements, the institute will also delve into the study of policies, regulations, airspace management protocols, operational standards, and safety frameworks pertinent to the burgeoning low-altitude economy.
