In response to the frequent occurrence of fires in challenging terrains during the spring season in southern China, China has independently developed and deployed two AG600 amphibious aircraft, numbered 1102 and 1103, to Guangdong for advanced forest fire suppression stationing. These aircraft have successfully accomplished their initial missions. Leveraging Meizhou Meixian Airport as the primary base and extending operations to Shaoguan, Zhanjiang, Jieyang, and other strategic locations, the AG600 aircraft have established a comprehensive emergency response network that covers key forested regions in Guangdong. Throughout their stationing period, the dual-plane formation conducted a total of 34 flights, accumulating 76 hours and 46 minutes of flight time. They carried out 52 water-dropping training sessions, releasing a total of 624 tons of water. This effort has significantly bolstered Guangdong Province's capabilities in aviation emergency rescue.
