On April 7 local time, action camera manufacturer GoPro filed a document with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, disclosing that its board of directors had approved a restructuring plan aimed at reducing costs and improving efficiency. According to the plan, GoPro will lay off approximately 145 employees globally, accounting for 23% of the total workforce at the end of the first quarter. The layoffs will commence in the second quarter and are expected to be completed by the end of the year. The restructuring is expected to incur expenses ranging from $11.5 million to $15 million.
