Based on a blogger's disclosure, Apple is still set to proceed with the launch of the second-generation iPhone Air 2, notwithstanding the underwhelming market performance of the inaugural iPhone Air. The first-generation iPhone Air was designed with an emphasis on being exceptionally thin and lightweight. However, its sales figures were far from impressive, largely owing to factors such as its steep price tag and subpar battery life. In a bid to boost sales, Apple's Tmall flagship store slashed prices by a substantial 2000 yuan in January of this year, with certain models being offered for as little as 5499 yuan. Despite these challenges, Apple has not given up on the series, and the development of the iPhone Air 2 is well underway. The new model will retain the 48-megapixel primary camera and introduce an ultra-wide-angle lens, creating a dual-camera configuration. Additionally, Apple will enhance the internal structure, battery, and heat dissipation systems to elevate both performance and user experience.
