According to leaks, the 2026 AirPods Pro earbuds may be named AirPods Pro 3+. In terms of hardware, to support Apple Intelligence functionality, they will feature a built-in infrared camera, working in conjunction with the new version of Siri in iOS 27 to provide visual intelligence information. Regarding interaction methods, the earbuds will remove the pressure-sensitive stem and switch to gesture controls, which may require users to readapt. For audio, they are expected to be equipped with the H3 chip to reduce latency, enhance sound quality, and boost computing power. Apple may release these earbuds alongside the iPhone 18 series in the fall of 2026.
