After undergoing six months of meticulous drafting and rigorous approval processes, the new national standard governing power banks has been officially unveiled today. Last year, we featured an article that provided an initial glimpse into the draft version of this new national standard, inviting feedback and comments. Lately, with numerous industry professionals congregating in various industry-specific chat groups, we've managed to gather pertinent materials. True to expectations, the new national standard for power banks, introduced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, has now commenced its implementation. Going forward, all power banks will be required to undergo and pass relevant tests; those failing to meet the stipulated standards will be prohibited from sale.
