During a run, a military officer's smart sports watch recorded and made public high-precision GPS data, resulting in the leakage of sensitive information, such as the real-time positions of military equipment. This incident has inflicted considerable damage on the country's national defense security. Such occurrences are not isolated; in recent years, numerous similar cases have emerged worldwide, underscoring the information security risks associated with smart wearable devices. The Ministry of State Security cautions that smart wearable devices may inadvertently reveal national military secrets, classified information, and personal privacy, necessitating heightened vigilance. It is advised to rigorously manage usage scenarios, refraining from using these devices in sensitive areas; meticulously control permission settings, adhering to the principle of least privilege; and exercise caution with data sharing, particularly when sharing exercise results, while regularly clearing historical records and location tracking data.
