The initial batch of details regarding NVIDIA's RTX 60 series graphics cards (built on the Rubin architecture) has surfaced. Based on these leaks, the conventional rasterization performance of this graphics card lineup is projected to see a significant uplift of around 30-35%. However, the real showstopper is the anticipated doubling of ray tracing and path tracing capabilities compared to the 50 series. The RTX 60 series is rumored to leverage TSMC's cutting-edge 3nm manufacturing process. The flagship model, the RTX 6090, is tipped to house the GR202 graphics chip, boasting an impressive 24,576 CUDA cores. Additionally, its memory capacity is speculated to reach a staggering 32GB of GDDR7. The official release of this graphics card series is slated for the latter half of 2027, though there's a possibility of it being pushed back to 2028.
