Samsung has recently rolled out its cutting-edge QuantumBlack display technology. This innovation involves the incorporation of a novel functional film layer onto the surface of QD-OLED panels. As a result, it achieves a remarkable 20% reduction in screen reflectance. Additionally, this advancement elevates the surface hardness from 2H to 3H. In practical terms, this technology adeptly minimizes the disruptive effects of external light sources, encompassing both indoor lighting and sunlight. By doing so, it significantly enriches the immersive quality of the viewing experience. Moreover, it bolsters the screen's resistance to scratches. Looking ahead, Samsung has set its sights on making QuantumBlack a standard feature across all new QD-OLED gaming monitors slated for release in 2026. Notably, renowned brands such as ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI are also gearing up to integrate comparable anti-reflective designs into their upcoming product offerings.
