Apple announced that it has added Bosch, Cirrus Logic, TDK, and Qnity Electronics to its U.S. manufacturing initiative, with plans to invest $400 million by 2030 to expand the production of key components in the United States. This collaboration also involves companies such as TSMC and GlobalFoundries, aiming to enhance local manufacturing capabilities for semiconductors and materials required for Apple products, thereby improving the U.S. supply chain. This investment expansion further advances Apple's commitment, announced last year, to invest $600 billion in U.S. manufacturing and innovation over four years.
