On March 26th, it was reported that the power battery cells for XPENG AEROHT's Land Aircraft Carrier flying vehicle have recently commenced mass production. The cells are supplied by CALB, while the battery pack is independently developed by XPENG AEROHT. This battery utilizes high-nickel silicon-doped cells, achieving an energy density of 310Wh/kg and a maximum instantaneous discharge rate of 25C. During flight, its sustained power output is approximately 10 times that of electric vehicles. It is reported that this is the first power battery to simultaneously pass dual certifications for automotive regulations and airworthiness requirements.
