Recently, Amazon announced its acquisition of Fauna Robotics, a startup that emerged onto the scene just two years ago. The company's flagship product, the humanoid robot Sprout, has become a focal point of industry discussion, particularly in relation to Amazon's automation strategy. Officially unveiled in late January of this year, Sprout is marketed as an autonomous robot that is "ready to use straight out of the box." It boasts advanced capabilities, including indoor autonomous navigation, human recognition and detection.
